The existing flat roof carport was removed, and a double garage and store room added.
The existing living and dining rooms were combined and converted to a accommodate a Home Theatre and staircase to the new upper floor
The kitchen was removed, the former kitchen/family space becoming a billiard room
The existing ensuite bathroom was refurbished and the small existing fourth bedroom converted to a walk-in robe and storage.
A second storey has been added which includes kitchen, dining and living rooms, parents retreat and an indoor/outdoor room. The hilltop location can be very windy, so the outdoor room can be enclosed with folding glass windows and doors when required
The existing face brick has been rendered over and painted.
The roof trusses, verandah posts and beams removed from the existing house were recycled and reused to construct some stables
